Dunross participates and arranges preferred equity investments in multi-family properties primarily related to “value-add” opportunities in markets predominantly in the Southeast United States. Dunross maintains a hands-on approach during the development, lease-up, asset management and disposition of each investment at the appropriate timing. Each acquisition is put through numerous financial stress-tests and evaluated on the basis of being below forty percent of replacement cost.
Access to debt and equity is a key differentiator in the sectors Dunross Capital competes. Dunross Capital’s management come out of the asset management arena and invest their own capital alongside that of its partners in both multi-family and distressed assets. It’s direct relationships with high net-worth individuals, family offices and institutional buyers provide for additional access to equity. The firm’s relationships with a wide array of lenders from Bridge to Permanent lenders allows for a seamless transition through the ownership of each property.
