Dunross Capital hires Veteran Real Estate Debt Specialist
New York, NY – January 2019 – Dunross Capital is pleased to announce the hiring of Peter Blass, a veteran real estate industry debt specialist. Peter joins Dunross Capital as a Managing Director and will lead the firm’s Commercial Finance and Debt Markets division. He brings over 25 years of real estate finance experience to the team and his expertise in structured finance, high leverage transactions, GSA Financings, CMBS, Bridge and Mezzanine Loans and capital raising for all commercial property sectors provides the firm with further access to multiple debt strategies in its investments.
He has led or participated in over $900,000,000 in real estate financings nationwide. Prior to joining Dunross Capital, he held positions at Arbor Commercial Mortgage, Avant Capital Partners, Centerline, Colony Hills Capital, Greystone Capital and Eastern Union Funding, building relationships with a diverse set of lenders and developing proprietary financing options for the multifamily marketplace.
Peter holds his Master of Science in Real Estate from the esteemed NYU Real Estate Graduate program. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York.
